Description
Typica - is the oldest coffee variety, it is the first coffee discovered in the Kaffa area of Ethiopia in the last century that is often told as the story of a goat man found a coffee beans. Typica coffee was brought to the United States by a French naval officer in the 1700s. Typica is the origin of the famous coffee varieties such as Jamaican Blue Mountain, San Ramon, Pache, Villalobos, Java & Jember .... etc ..
At the present, the most cultivated species of Typica coffee are: Canh Dat, Da Lat. Typica has a cone with a straight main body and many oblique growers. Typica is 3.5 to 4 meters high. Branches are made from 50 to 70 degrees from the straight stem of the tree. Typica has very low productivity.
