Description
Water filling blocks are usually made in two standard colors according to GOST - white and red. The dimensions of the barriers are also standard - these are water-filling barriers 1200 * 750 * 500 mm (1.2m) and water-filling barriers 2000 * 750 * 500 mm (2.0m).
As for the typology of plastic road blocks, then there are 2 groups:
1) water-filled enclosed barriers (blocks) and
2) just water filling blocks.
Water filling barriers - have the same shape as water filling barriers, but do not have a flat bottom from the bottom. There is a special “skirt” and a side hole for filling liquid (water) into the enclosing barriers from below. Due to the fact that the inserted water-filling barriers do not have a bottom - they can be nested in each other like a nesting doll.
This is a huge advantage - from the point of view of saving space, but the enclosed barriers are less stable than just water filling.
There is a mount on the side of each of the barriers - for joining the barriers and creating a complete protective structure.
Simple water filling blocks, unlike embedded water filling barriers, have a flat bottom, as well as an opening for water inlet, which is located on top. For fastening barriers to each other - as well as the enclosing barriers there is a special fastening.
It is worth noting that in the warm season (summer, spring, autumn) - it is possible to pour water into the barriers, but even in winter at minus temperature it is necessary to fill in a 30% water-salt solution or non-freezing liquid so that the barrier does not “tear” to pieces.
In the event that there is no water (salt-water solution) at the facility, sand (ASG) can be poured into the opening of the barriers.
